Monochrome blues.

There is something special about black & white photography. The way one perceives the setting or subject is different to colour, it is a complete different perspective which also impacts what one decides to photograph and the overall angle and framing. B&W accentuates the textures and perspectives, highlighting raw emotions and feelings of the subject. Similarly to colour, I enjoy experimenting with different films, which is visible in the grains, contrasts and tones of the different images. This series is a collection of different B&W photography that I have taken (and mostly self developed), both in 35mm and medium format.
